Information for Fans on Access to Spyros Kyprianou Arena
With the first tip-off for Group C of FIBA EuroBasket 2025 approaching, the Organizing Committee provides information regarding access and parking at the Spyros Kyprianou Arena. The arrangements also apply for all 15 games that will take place from August 28 to September 4 in Limassol.
Fans who will watch EuroBasket in person are urged to carefully read the instructions below.

Having now the experience from the games held on the second weekend of August for the ECOMMBX Cup, additional arrangements have been made to further facilitate the public attending the biggest sporting event ever held in Cyprus.
It is important to stress that, as in the test event, also for EuroBasket, access and parking in the fenced parking area of Spyros Kyprianou will not be permitted for those who do not have a special parking ticket.
The arena, unfortunately, has only one road leading to it, and the parking spaces at the arena are limited (only 450 spaces). These specific spaces, for FIBA EuroBasket 2025, have been reserved by FIBA, police, fire service, event guests, journalists, and persons with disabilities. Due to the above, the access arrangements have been drawn up in order to avoid traffic congestion and allow the public to arrive at and depart from the arena as comfortably as possible.
All arrangements, for all 15 games, will be identical, for the easy planning of fans. In addition, all of the below arrangements are free of charge for ticket holders, with the Organizing Committee covering the cost.
Park & Ride from Tsirio
Parking at Tsirio is maintained and enhanced as an option, where there will be Park & Ride buses for all 15 FIBA EuroBasket 2025 games, transporting fans to and from Spyros Kyprianou.
For the Tsirio Park & Ride, the first buses for each game will start about 2 hours and 20 minutes before each tip-off. For example, on 28/8, ahead of the Georgia–Spain game which starts at 15:00, the first Park & Ride from Tsirio will depart at 12:40.
Addition of Hop-on hop-off
Compared to the test event, for nearby parking areas, hop-on hop-off shuttles have also been added, which will transport the public to a distance of 500 meters from Spyros Kyprianou, minimizing the walking to and from the arena.
The hop-on hop-off shuttle will start its route from Diodorou Street, and will make stops at Ioulianou, Afoplismou, and Angistis streets, before ending at Argyri Gavala Street, 500 meters away from Spyros Kyprianou.

For all 15 games, the hop-on hop-off shuttles will continuously run a circular route (see map), with the first shuttle starting about 90 minutes before each game. For example, on 28/8, ahead of the Georgia–Spain game which starts at 15:00, the first hop-on hop-off will depart from Diodorou Street at 13:30.
It is important, for the smooth transition and safety of all fans, that all instructions from the Police, the organizers, and private security staff are strictly followed.
Below in detail, all the guidelines concerning access and parking for the games of FIBA EuroBasket 2025:
* Parking is prohibited in the fenced area of the Spyros Kyprianou Sports Center without a special parking ticket. Access from Giannou Kranidioti Avenue towards the arena is also not permitted for those without a special parking ticket.
* Park & Ride from Tsirio: Starting 2 hours and 20 minutes before each of the 15 games, free Park & Ride will be available from Tsirio Stadium, with bus access granted to game ticket holders.
At the end of each game, the number of buses departing simultaneously from Spyros Kyprianou (compared to the test event) for return to Tsirio Stadium has been increased, so that fans can collect their vehicles. Parking at Tsirio is free. It should be noted that additional staff have also been added to the Park & Ride system (at the departure points and inside the buses), who will assist the public and help better organize the process.

2. Parking on streets near the arena: Coming from Giannou Kranidioti Avenue, turn right (when arriving from the highway) onto Evagora Lanitis Avenue and then left onto Andrea Avraamidi Street. Parking is available on Argyri Gavala, Iakovou Katsounotou, Georgiou Charalampous, Angistis streets and in areas further south.

3. Hop-on & hop-off shuttles on the streets before the Arena: Starting 90 minutes before tip-off of each game, mini shuttles will depart approximately every 10 minutes from Diodorou Street, making stops at Ioulianou, Afoplismou, and Angistis streets, and will end their route at Argyri Gavala Street, 500 meters before the arena.

In conclusion
As with every event of this scale, worldwide, and given that parking or vehicle access at the arena is not permitted, it is inevitable that spectators will have to walk to reach their destination. With the addition of the hop-on hop-off, walking time is reduced to about 8 minutes.
For persons with disabilities, who do not already have a special parking ticket, information can be found at the following link: https://www.cbf.basketball/el/events/details/%CF%80%CE%BB%CE%B7%CF%81%CE%BF%CF%86%CE%AF%CE%B5%CF%82-%CE%B3%CE%B9%CE%B1-%CF%80%CF%81%CF%8C%CF%83%CE%B2%CE%B1%CF%83%CE%B7-%CE%B1%CE%BC%CE%B5%CE%B1-%CF%83%CF%84%CE%BF-fiba-eurobasket-2025
